No doot aboot it. The kid should be MVP with numbers like that.

MVP is more than goals scored though, especially at younger levels of play.

If the kid was a total shit and had a whack of penalty minutes that wouldn't endear him to the coaches.

I dont watch hockey .. but I went to a few of my friends games as a teen... you'ld see the fathers in the stands foaming at the mouth " kill him" get him " and then bitch their kids out if they missed the goal....


I never liked hockey myself .. I once threw a raw chicken ( whole ) onto the ice during " area play offs" during a power play .. funny shit... alot of angry testosterone junkies had my number that night

Hockey is just as bad a cheerleading in some places.
In Mississippi and Louisiana mothers are nuts when it comes to their daughters being the best cheerleader. :warning

There was a documentary on a mother who killed for her daughter to become the top cheerleader.

ya Chris...Hockey especially in Canada is all political...they proably didn't sponsor enough exhcange players...or get up early in the mrning enough to get anyones attention...its all politics...he has just made sure his son got some attention, but is it really the kind of attention the kid needs? he would do better if he went out again the next year dominated again...and then when he got picked number one in the draft in a few years he could worry about the mvp from some minor league games
