best way to monetize a blog?

I recently started a blog and finally I am starting to get some decent traffic. I put up a few banners here and there but so far I haven't seen any substantial earnings.

My question is, what's the best way to monetize a blog? Any tricks? :thumbsup

What niche?

Totemcash does great for me on a couple babe and celeb links but I figure it will translate well to other sites

My best dating site is loadedcash. I have tried most of the others and this one has done best for me.
