Fantasy Football Question

Who to start at QB
Delhomme at home against the Lions
Thigpen at home against the Saints

Both have good match ups normally I would start Delhomme but after what he did last week against the Raiders I am not so sure.

Paper_Amar 11-13-2008 10:33 AM

i would still go Delhomme

I would go with Delhomme, the lions are the pure shits.

Thigpen is still not fully proven.

It's really a tough call because if the panthers get an early lead they will rush Williams a lot, as they do like to run the ball.

On the other hand Thigpen has Larry Johnson back so they may lean on him as well. Herm Edwards is not a trustworthy coach when it comes to fantasy.

I think both will put up similar numbers, the advantage for Delhomme is he has Smith and Muhammad.

The advantage for Thigpen is they may get into a shoot out.

Now, after read that, I think Thigpen may be the goods this week.

Thigpen stock is rising but the saints have a much better pass defense. I would go with Delhomme at home against the worst team in the league..oh wait that's the Raiders against the second worst team in the league

Delhomme without a doubt. Smith will have a field day.

Delhomme, I had Thigpen start last week and he kicked ass, but I don't think it will happen this week.

Not sure where you get a much better pass defense from.

Saints are number 27 have given up 2146 yards and 14 td's

Lions are number 29 have given up 2204 yards and 15 td's

they are pretty much the same

Numbers don't lie... I would still go with Jake

Delhomme at home against the Lions

Michael O 11-13-2008 12:31 PM

Yeah I am leaning towards him, hoping he will prove that Sunday were a one time thing

»Rob Content« 11-13-2008 12:33 PM

You have such a hard decision Michael as you are in a MUST WIN situation this week

»Rob Content« 11-13-2008 12:36 PM

I figured you'd make a move to get Smith from Sandman

Delhomme..Lions cant stop a college QB..

NY Jester 11-14-2008 01:48 AM

I think Delhomme would be best this week

frankielove 11-14-2008 11:41 AM

Historically, Delhomme has always played better at home. Last week (road game) was an aberration. Also, the Lions can't hold Smith down for a second consecutive week....they suck!
