Wow just saw a car I traded in in 95 on tv
 

Had abc news on and wasn't paying much attention. They were talking about how much people spend on lottery tickets, and how sales are up. I look up cause I hear them say the name of a town about 15 mins away from my home town. The camera is panning down the road and they are talking about something about a donut shop and there is my 85 cavalier convertible with custom paint, and Chrysler aluminum rims polished and clear coated rims. Couldn't believe it lol. I traded it in for my Mustang in 95. Whats the odds on that. Crazy, and I never watch abc nightly news. Just had that channel on cause I was watching cma aftershow and didn't bother to change it after it was over. Still looked damn good. My paint job I put on it still shining like crazy lol.

Sorry it was nightline not abc nightly news.

Was a very specific paint job, and there were not very many 85 cavalier convertibles to begin with. 85 had no rear center brake light. I did a double take for sure. lol

I use to have a cav z24 hatchback lol.. it was black and had orange pin strips ... it had a high tech digital dash .. It was a cool car back in the day .

Im guessing 87. They changed the body style in 88, and 86 didn't have dig dash yet.

Im lookin for a pic of it, but no luck so far. Car got me lots of tang. lol

In ~1994, I sold my 1978 pickup truck (which was a piece of junk) and saw it about a month later on the back of a flatbed truck - after it had been through the crusher. I was just driving home and I noticed the hand-spray-painted crushed truck on the flatbed as it was driving down the street.

Again, what are the odds?

Well was only a month later and in the same city I guess? So not as unlikely. This is 12 years later and on a national tv show and I am 700 miles away from there lol.
