I first sited Amp in 1997, appearing on the wall of an apartment complex located at 2420 Glendale Terrace.

His image appeared from shadows created by a security light that was angled at the building. When the light was turned off, the image vanished, but the faithful remained, convinced that a holy miracle had taken place.

Today, at the southwest end of the parking, a tent is standing next to the building where it happened. Inside are hundreds of votive candles and a statue of Amp.

There were some sightings of him driving his truck inside a tortilla in the Durango Mexico town of Chupamiberga. Apparently, pilgrims trek to this day barefoot to see the tortilla.

His image may have appeared in a blueberry muffin SleazyDream was fixing to eat last Memorial Day weekend.

Well I heard that he was last seen entering a disc shaped object sitting on the edge of Lake Tahoe

I just did some checking and Amp's girlfriend said that he went out surfing earlier and rode a wave all the way to a small uncharted island. The locals there have never seen a white man before and now worship him as a god. She said it looks like a scene from Apocalypse Now with Marlon Brando.

From what she said, the locals call him The Haole God.

Amp isn't a real person! Duh! He's a bot! Geez people! I thought you all knew that.

His posts disappear because of a bug in the bot's script. If someone else is posting or replying to a bot's post, sometimes it gets hung up, and the post gets deleted.

I used to use this bot script a while back, but, once I found that bug in it, I quit using it.

Did you honestly think Amp was a real person? LOL
