Can I ask your opinion on a design?
 

Hi Guys,

Just done a wordpress inspired design. I wanted to get peoples general opinions on it so I can make changes to it.

Looks pretty good. I would make the header graphic (the cartoon of the girl) fill out the top space more. Maybe even have her head pop out the top. This would just ground the page more...

Its annoying to the eye.

I do not like the candy lines behind text. It distracts me and urges me to get a fork and scrape an eye out from its socket then throw it on the floor and run over it with the wheel of my desk chair.

The cartoon in the corner is badly drawn, its a bad pose, why is she wearing clothes? Wait scratch that. If the illustrator is gonna draw like that I rather not see a nude illustration attempt.

Sorry just being honest.

OH yeah and where is the fucking monkey?

I would consider loosing the scan lines.

I would also round the edges of the boxes aswell, as the header is rounded.

I've seen a lot of posts by you and you never really can just say something simple can you?
Quite frankly I ask for feedback and it'd be nice for it to be given in a constructive format such as:

"I dont like the lines on the headers just draws attention away from the text and I dont like the illustration, seems badly drawn to me"

Once you learn how to actually be polite I'll take notice. Also in response to the quoted question I used Adult Monkeys as a sample header its not what the site will have at the end.

girl too small and looks shity, background on titles needs to be more clean (without black lines), thumbs so small ... bigger and bigger all

Thanks, I shall be removing the lines and considering playing with the header. In terms of thumbnails its all basic filler content so it can be as big as needed once actually made into a site.

I love it how you also say that sucks but dont go on to tell me that the design is bad other than for a couple of minor tweaks.

I've answered that once already, but the answer is its just sample text, like the whole design is made up of samples images and text.

Where the monkey at?
