...coz the freehosts I deal with screw up the images so they cannot be seen and instead appear broken.

Dude, when you post your image on boards it usually (most likely always) breaks their rules. It's hotlinking, and they can't add thier banner to the image which is how they make thier money... which in turn is what keeps thier services free.

I think what you mean is you want lens to host your images.
