Price per 1000 impressions
Whats a fair price per 1000 impressions for banner ads on adult sites?
|
depends on how big the boobies are.
|
Now-a-days, for general traffic, about $1.00. Up to $3.00 if the traffic is superb and you are getting a 10% click through rate (unlikely).
|
Wow, $1-$3/K! I was thinking more like $0.25/K was pretty good.
|
anyone paying $1 per k hit me up
LOL |
I may be willing to pay $2 per k for some tests on a banner ad. ICQ me 239088209 we can talk.

I sell 500k hits for 2000k, if someone wants to pay $3 for 1000 impressions hit me up anytime and make me filthy rich.

what is CTR ???
|
Gosh, no wonder I'm not making any money...
Assholes, in my haste I read 10000. seeandsee, CTR = click through ratio |
seriously though. fuck impressions. get the average CTR from the impressions and then compare that with the price on other clicked traffic sellers. i guarantee you it will be a lot higher price than if you bought the traffic from clicked traffic sellers. most places that sell per impression do it because their CTR sucks balls.

Effective CPM From a publisher's perspective, the effective cost-per-thousand impressions (eCPM) is a useful way to compare revenue across different channels and advertising programs. It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of impressions in thousands. For example, if a publisher earned $180 from 45,000 impressions, the eCPM would equal $180/45, or $4.00. However, please keep in mind that eCPM is a reporting feature that does not represent the actual amount paid to a publisher. |

It's good to feed a new site, but worthless if you are looking for sales. |
Very interesting post, I was just looking through the board to find suggestions such as this.

Some people have built their networks on traffic volume only. Others are going to have less traffic, but will be more focused. On mine, there is a lot less traffic. But if you are trying to get to celebrity or feet people. It's best to advertise there instead of just high volume areas that are not looking for feet, and will never convert. You might as well just lite that money on fire. |
