Which is a better hotel in Vegas... Treasure Island or Harrah's ?
 

The rates are about the same and both are very close to the Venetian... but I've never stayed at either.

Any insight anyone?

harrahs is brutal, paper thin walls and doors. go with treasure island

Harrah's is a little dated. Plus, if you are trying to get to the Venetian, TI is literally right across the street.

Stayed at Harrah's and TI before. TI was better.

I've stayed at TI, its not great but definitely better than Harrah's.

Harrah's is far more convenient to the rest of the strip .. the shuttle system has a stop right behind the hotel. Going anywhere from TI is still a nice little hike or cab ride. If you're anything like me and just think of your room as a place to keep your shit, then I would suggest Harrah's (or even Imperial Palace, which has some fun/cheap late night gambling).

Treasure Island is way better... Harrahs is kinda ....ugh.

That alone sells me on TI.

TI, hands down. Harrah's ain't bad but I'd opt for TI.

UMMM... I've stayed at IP before and it's HORRIBLE. Even if they were giving away rooms I'd still pay to stay elsewhere.

Treasure Island 35th floor. We just got back and we either stay at the Mirage or Treasure Island :thumbsup

Yeah I've stayed off the top of my head at

the hotel
luxor
new york new york
monte carlo
bellagio
flamingo
rio
paris
caesars
the venetian
harrahs

And harrahs was the worst by far for the actual room. I don't mind some of the slots at harrahs, I'm actually up a few thousand gambling there. And the pool is fucking horrible.

Stayed at Treasure Island before, nothing classy obviously but was fine to stay in for a few days... :)
