In regards to fraudulent charges to my card recently. Refunded
 

Within the last month or so, my bank account card was hit with porn site trials and charges I did not sign up for. As someone who has access to 50 or more porn sites at any given week, I assure you I didnt sign up to the sites.

however, my partner brought it to the attention of the program the sales were going to, Incredible Dollars, and as of now - the charges are being refunded and we are being told they traced the sales to an affiliate they had already canned. They confirmed the account was terminated and that affiliate had already been investigated for this stuff.

I just wanted to post this to say my issue with them is settled, the issue resolved, and its time to get back to work.

My partner says they were polite and pleasant to deal with during this matter.

I'd like to add, we never stated anything negative regarding them and only sought their assistance during this.

We posted asking if gfy members could sleuth around and figure out who owned the sites and that is how we were able to track it down.

I have never stated a negative opinion over the Incred$ folks, and just wanted to get the money that was removed from my account without my consent, put back where it belongs.

I posted a link to this thread in there for historical purposes and that people know its been settled if they ever hit that thread with a search.

How did they get the card # in the first place?

No legal actions, no idea how they got the card #.

But got our refund, and they were super nice and courteous. :)

I have no clue, but from what I gather, it must have been a webmaster cc databae that was hit. As I dont order pizza or buy dvds from amazon with my bank account card. The only thing I had attached to it was webmaster related billing.

Anyway, that investigation is still up in the air becaue I have no idea how to find out where they got the number, but the fraud charges did occur and I had to stop my debit card (flagged as stolen) and get another issued to stop the charges from incurring.

Man, that's a tremendous relief. Now, any surfer who ever gets their credit card hit with unwanted charges just has to find gfy, sign up for a username, post the name of the charge on their credit card and ask for help from gfy members to help them them sleuth around and find the fraudulent charger and then call that fraudulent charger and have the charges removed in a pleasant manner. Huge relief. The issue of fraudulent charges is now officially over. About time. Geezis Fucking Kryst.
