3K is extremly good compared to the others

I think Apple's rumoured upcoming large-format monitors will be nice... Since they are TFT, not Plasma. They already have a 24" flat-screen, and there are rumors of around 30" versions not being far off... Wow.

For that price it must have shitty picture quality.

Wait those out about 6mo - 1yr. Major price drop and technology is still improving for them.

If would wait a little technology could still improve some, when they get to around 2k :)

It'd be very interesting to see the picture quality. That really is an incredible price.

I remember when Gateway used to sell those 32 inch TV/Monitors. They were nothing special as a TV and were a little too blurry to use as a monitor all the time. But they sure were cheap.

For $3000 for a plasma TV I might have to pick one of those suckers up for my bedroom, even if the picture isn't so good.

About the quallity from the article:

Um, I have dual 21" IBM trinitron monitors on my design pc. Does that count?

I have a 18" LCD, and it's fucking huge. I couldn't imagine a 42".

All the better to see those new models on tranny trick sly :)
