    What do you think of a forum with no main page:

    example: GFY with no page with daily info and all that stuff


    I want to create a forum about weed BUT thats all i wanted to do, was make a forum for it.. Would it be smart to invest more and have a front page to it?

    so how about you forum owners, you have any front page?

      I've had several and honestly I think you're better off just to have the forum since it usually becomes the focus anyway. Do sticky's for your info threads, etc.. and let people jump in right away instead of having to wade through the front page.

                          of course no frontpage, you save one click to your visitors and if you have top threads in header of your forum, it will be nice alive and users will return only to alive forums and no, never no, to portal page for forum have luck your topic sounds interesting to me
