What phone(s) do you own?
 

I dropped my really old mobile this week. :mad: The Nokia 6610 (yes, it's real OLD). So I wanted to get a iphone or better one. For now I just purchased a Samsung D900i till I can work out which one I want. But I quite like the D900i.

What do you have?

8 gig iphone, cracked hacked on t-mobile

HTC Touch... I really want to upgrade to the pro though.
It has IE, Opera, Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote), Google Maps with GPS and a ton more. I'm pretty happy with it.

8 gig Iphone. on At&T. I've been looking at G1 and the keyboard is really tempting.

Their is a new blackberry that just came out, supposedly the same apps as the Iphone.

First generation iPhone and still loving it although I have been getting the itch to get the newer iPhone.

It looks good, but the software sucks. I always bought samsung because they have the strongest antenna, which i need in the server basements I work from most of the time.

The software is as far from intuitive as you can ever get. you have to confirm everything again and again and again.

It's a small compact clamshell with two screens, the outer one being a touch screen. Inside it has a full keyboard. Makes text messages very easy. Great phone.

Just went from the Diamond to the Pro 2 days ago. A little thicker but awesome. I loved the new Diamond but typing on it was a pain for me in full querty. The keyboard on the Pro is worth the extra thickness if you do a lot of typing. Plus I like having the micro sd slot.

I haven't seen the Pro in person yet, so hearing you say it's not much bigger is a good thing. I think I can manage the loss of the 4 gig internal storage for more RAM. Did you notice a big difference in speed?

I can manage the virtual keyboard, but would prefer a hardware keyboard.

I got a blackberry curve now 8330. I had before a samsung a600 something and another samsung for a backup phone.

I just went from the blackberry pearl to the G1... both great phones.

So far I haven't pushed it yet so I am still playing around but speed feels the same. I think the Sprint versions both have the same processor. Ram and rom specs I will have to check. I know the gsm versions are a little different.

The keyboard is awesome. FYI I had downloaded a program called gsen which 'sometimes' let me set the keyboard in landscape mode by turning the phone but it didn't always work. I had to reset it often. I bang off emails and text all day long so I just wanted something that worked for me consistently (the keyboard).

The one thing I do like better about the Diamond is the physical shape. It's more squared off which looks awesome. The Pro is your typical rounded off corners. That's just a stupid personal taste though.

Don't get me wrong, the Pro is thicker but if you put the phones side by side it's not too bad.

HAHAHAHA.. what a fuck up that is .. I am totally amazed at how poorly they do work together .. that was the whole reason I bought the iPhone .. my older motorola's work better with the MACs ....

I have an 8gb iPhone running on the T-mob network and a couple days ago, I picked up the G1. It's gonna be a long time before a phone comes out that's better than the G1. I'm typing on it now. Way better than my iPhone.

I have the cute little pink Nokia 6085. I'm not a big cell phone person to be honest so I didn't see why I should pay for one but my husband as the iPhone.
