wow another great speech.

I wonder if we will look back at Obama's speech tonight in 50 years, the same way we look back at Kennedy's "we choose to go to the moon" speech. While I have to admit, that I haven't gotten caught up in the whole change thing with Obama, It is a nice thing to see a powerful yet intelligent president for this nation.

I think we witnessed history tonight not in the fact that it's the first black president, but rather the first president in a long time that wants to unite this country rather than continue to divide it.

A speech like that almost makes you feel like there is nothing that can't be done.

what an awesome night ...... definitively history in the making....

I may be wrong...I really hope I am not...

but I think he can and will back up those beautiful, eloquent, hope-inspiring words with action.

Lets hope he can.. I think he will greatly inspire the youth of this country in a way they haven't been inspired for many years. I mean hell I'm 36 and his words makes me want to go do what ever is needed.

I deliberately haven't gotten too caught up in his promises because you can never trust a politician. However he seems to have the presence and power in his talk to convince people to do what's needed. So who knows maybe he will be able to walk the talk, because half the battle is convincing others.

I took the munchkin to a rally he had in October in Indy. I know this is gfy, and I know people will laugh at me.

But in that very diverse crowd, 35,000 strong, crammed in the park... the positive energy was almost a tangible thing. And I'm an old-as-dirt-cynical bitch.

Not to mention a life long republican until this election. :)
