I could care less really. Both sides are talking about "change", but yet both sides are just more of the same - politicians who are already in office and promising to do better. But here's the catch.... If they are already in office, why didn't they work to avoid all of this crap in the first place? Oh, that's right - their politicians. Make big promises, and instead of doing their jobs they spend an entire year on the road campaigning.

I mean really.... How in the world did these two take off so much time? Don't they have jobs?

Obama will do just fine. Let's face it, you can put a trained monkey in wht oval office and he'll do better than what we've had for the past four years (eight years really).

I tend to agree.

I don't think things are going to drastically improve overnight now that Obama is Prez.

However...I'm optimistic things will gradually stabilize and get better.

there is no way anyone will fix what is wrong even in 4 years.

what will happen is other countries will see that the people finally committed and came out to make a change.

it will take many years to even dent the issues that we have. i'm just glad that other countries wont think americans are spineless idiots anymore.

he made sure in his speech tonight to try to tell people not to get their expectations too high for what can be done, he said not in the first 100 days, not even in the first term - i like Obama but looking at the crowds he draws is kinda of scary, these people want to believe he's something of a Messiah - which he ain't.

he does have the power now with the Democrats controlling Congress to pretty much get the ball rolling on many of the things he promised during the campaign.
