Agreed, not everyone. But as expected...significant enough to win the major bible belt states.

Good to see they won't have any more representation. :thumbsup

Let's hope this will ease pressure on the creditcard companies and they can become more liberal to those of us in the bondage 'n fetish niches.

Nothing would surprise me when it comes to those inbred, bible-thumpin', born-again baptists.

Without a Republican in office, I have to wonder what their next tactical strategy will be.

Notice how a vast majority of the red states are the state you don't want to live in...west virginia...kentucky....alabama....texas (but Austin is cool), Arkansas, Utah, Idaho, South Dakota...

True - but in their defense...Kentucky and West Virginia are scenic to visit (plus they have wicked banjo players hangin' on the front porches).

Could you please enlighten an uninformed European which states belong to the bible belt? On wikipedia they refer to at least two different areas. So I´m a bit confused which states you are talking about.

Honestly, those states are a part of our country and all of them have beautiful places. To say otherwise is lowering yourself to other's level and sounding ignorant too. There are lots of nice cities in those states. Maybe not exactly where you want to lay your roots, but there are so many nice places all over the south and US in general.

For example, did you know they have a full scale replica of the Parthenon in Nashville, Tennessee? :1orglaugh

I plan to see this thing one day!

Check out the Athena, she is gilded in gold.

Yeah its not Disneyland, but there are lots of wonderful things in those places. I live in friggin SE Louisiana, on the bayou, and yeah its more fun to just visit. But I've learned so much living down here, my life experience is far greater than others now. I wouldn't trade it for anything. :)

(and I do have plans to move, as soon as the housing market gets better hah)

Pennsylvannia, West Virginia, Georgia...several up and down the east coast. But areas of the midwest (Utah) is also considered somewhat bible belt with their Mormon/Amish sects.

The hate is well-deserved. These are the ultra religious lobbyists who, if they had it their way - would take away the livelihood we legally earn within the adult industry.

It is so scary.

There are people down here who can't even read or write, but want to take away a women's right to choose on abortion. Bumper sticker riding ignorant fools.

The last governor of Louisiana actually made a law that if Roe vs Wade is ever overturned, abortion is instantly illegal here. I forget the term for the law, but that is her legacy.

Don't worry about the real issues, like unwanted children that grow up on the streets and end up contributing to the crime and drugs. Don't encourage birth control because the catholics will get upset, but make abortion illegal.

Man I can't even get started on this, it burns my ass so fucking bad. Yes, they'd take away so many of our rights, its not even funny.

Not a single person that we know here even has a sliver of an idea that we work in porn. I can only imagine the reactions. In fact, I never want to even go there.
