Warning - Someone Selling Domains Under My Screename
 

Just a heads up that some guy who is using the ICQ name of WiredGuy is selling domains with the claim that he is WiredGuy from GFY.

This is not true, I have never sold a domain and whoever this is, is basically using my name / goodwill to establish credibility behind the domain names.

yeah, this sucks. He has messaged me the last 2 days with this:

Yup, thats the same message someone else sent me which is why I started this thread. Obviously someone is trying to use my name claiming to sell their domains so I figured I'd tell people its not me.

I had a 20 minute chat with this guy... he claimed to have porncams forsale.

First he asked 1500, then 5000 an in the end he said someone pm'ed him with an offer of 30.000...

The domain is registered in the Caymans, I picked the admin emailaddress for the domain and asked him if I could send him my offer to that that emailaddress... that's when he got nervous... As fluent as the conversation was going first, it changed when I asked that... I could see that he had problems with finding answers... you simply know when something is fishy if you see "TYPING" on ICQ... then no message... and again typing... which means people complete a sentence... become nervous or uncertain of what they are replying, and delete the whole sentence... I sense these things.

Anyway, I offered him 10.000 cold or 500 rental/mo and no reaction today...

Seems porncams.com is the domain he's trying to push... hopefully if anyone does buy it they won't think its from me...

Yeah, had the same guy (under a different GFY username) trying to tell me HotBabes.com.

Play along with scammers, get their bank details, epassporte, paypal. Then report the fucks. Just saying "no thanks but i know your a scammer" is just letting him get away and move onto someone else.

I report them all. I get a few due to my script name.
