Live converts better IMO, because the girl/guy they see in the add is the girl/guy they get when they click. I've found that tricking the surfer just pisses them off :2 cents:

Webcams.com has a lot of great models who go the extra mile and make the experience great for its clients. However, some models have a bad attitude and don't put forth much effort.

We fairly order the models that appear on our site by their productivity so the ones that put forth a lot of effort, like Aaliyah, appear at the top of the site and thus earn the most money... the bad ones appear last on the list.

We allow affiliates who generate promo content to filter models that appear in their results by site ranking if they'd like to ensure only the top models appear, but if affiliates don't do this, there is a possibility that poorly performing models may appear. This is the point I was trying to make with my 'skank ho' comment.

Aaliyah, you clearly don't fall into this category so you should relax :P

I just can't believe John would say that about his own models.. if your brand is the models that work on your site, and you are telling the people you want to promote your site that the models are lazy skanks and not worth promoting.. then you are essentially advertising and putting down your own brand at the same time. :disgust

I wonder what would happen if employees of a mainstream company caught the CEO calling them lazy skanks. Yeah, I am taking offense to that JOHN, I have busted my ASS for webcams.com night after night week after week for almost a year straight now and you are telling your affiliates that when promoting your webcam site, they should probably use pre-recorded vids instead of promote the webcam girls because they are not worth promoting.. are you serious?

I guess either John doesn't give a fuck or didn't expect any of his models to ever come to GFY.. John, I am on GFY daily not only promoting my site but promoting webcams.com, I would never ask you to go out of your way to promote ME, one of 10000 models that work for you, but it would also be nice to not be called a lazy skank not worth promoting... WOW.

I think it's true of all webcam sites with 100's of models online that some don't put forth as much effort as they should.. they're only hurting themselves. The pre-recorded videos in our promo tools use our featured hand picked pre-recorded shows from some of our top models. I think it's fair to say that highlighting some of the hot action that goes on in our premium chat is very enticing to a potential member

Webcams.com is one of the largest and most successful webcam sites with over 500 models online and thousands of new PAYING customers every day because we convert our affiliates traffic and have many satisfied clients who are very happy with our online models. Saying 'some of our models are skanks' certainly isn't a sweeping generalization because I think most of our models are phenomenal and make our site the prestigious, high converting site that it is.
