Rep or Dem ... if I'm standing in line somewhere or driving to vote and it appears my vote is useless why vote? Who knows how this affects turnout ia a close race.

Maybe not the 5th, but calling states that have 1% of the vote counted is absolutely bullshit. Like I said in another thread today, the media controls the elections. This just further proves my point. Just like in '00...just like in '04...

I think that at the absolute LEAST they should have to wait until 75% of precincts are reported before they call a state. Also, there should be media blackouts in states that the polls are still open in.

The "Liberal" Americans as the Repubs so call Democrats with a slur are hard to get up out of a chair and go vote. Liberal America sleeps most the time which is why the RIightest/Conservative agenda has flourished for so long. Fact is Liberals didnt give a shit enough to vote or care...

Nah man.. Just pointing out why so many important voters fail to go and vote.

During this election I learned something interesting.


See the Republicans and Conservatives really are a small portion of America, they know that being vocal is important and they know going out to vote is important. Liberal's on the other hand are very difficult to get up and motivated. Liberals are folks that go with what ever comes along and the fact is, its easy to dismiss over 3/4's of America's voting potential on the simple basis that the majority of Americans never go and vote.

Only because they do not care enough to vote, or believe thier vote do not count. That demographic of none voting Americans are Liberals or Democrats which is a HUGE potential of votes that remain silent over 90% of the time when it comes to voting or participating in the political process.

Its the Silent Majority that have allowed America to fall into the shit it has.

Lets just hope the next Presidency with Obama can correct the land we call America and put our country on the right track for its people and the world once again as a great nation. America has lost so much respect internationaly speaking one might wonder if America will have be what it was before Bush.
The Bush years will be regarded as the darkest times in American history ever...

Yes, but you can't give a state to someone when you only have 1 percent of the precincts reporting in. That is just plain stupid because it will probably change. Several states they are claiming for Obama have no precincts reporting in yet.

They explained on CNN it's not just based on the actual votes but also on the exit polling and the potential error swing in them. Most of the states that were called in cases like that were supposedly once where the exit polling showed a fairly huge gap between them.

It's still bullshit but they aren't doing it just on 1% of the votes, but on the exit polling and "other information received" as they stated on CNN.
