Penthouse Acquires Danni.com Properties

BOCA RATON, Fla. - AVNOnline.com has learned that Penthouse Media Group has acquired Danni.com and all of the company?s associated properties for $3 million in cash and stock options. The acquisition includes all outstanding shares, trademarks, and assets of Danni Ashe Inc. and Video Bliss Inc., the companies that sprung from Internet model Danni Ashe?s softcore online empire. All of the properties immediately join the Penthouse family.
?This is a continuation of our strategy of acquiring first-rate assets in the industry,? said Penthouse Chief Executive Officer Marc Bell.

The move significantly bulks up Penthouse?s properties in several markets. In addition to Danni.com, Danni?s online properties include MishaOnline.com, EricaCampbell.com, and CrystalKlein.com. The company?s DVD line is distributed through Pure Play, it has broadcasting deals through BRI/CED, and various mobile content distribution deals are in place.

Despite the acquisition, Bell said the two companies would continue to operate as they currently do, with in-place personnel and an independent structure.

We don?t anticipate any changes between the two businesses,? Bell said.

?Danni has its own customer base and its own type of content. We will add more content to the sites with the Penthouse library, and we will give [their sites] some additional value.?

Penthouse, obviously in acquisition mode, in bankruptcy court in April purchased the assets of Jill Kelly Productions for $1.7 million, outbidding heavyweights Playboy, New Frontier, and Frank and Michael Koretsky?s Xgen LLC.

Bell promised more moves will follow, but declined to elaborate.

?We are continuing to look for quality assets to acquire in the industry,? he said.

Ashe, who essentially retired from modeling two years ago, owned 25 percent of the company before the sale to Penthouse.

btw Danni didn't sell to penthouse, she sold to the owner in between, there was another party that then sold it to penthouse. They paid more than 3 mill for it from her.

The dannicash site is not dead. I don't know if I will be paid on my old links any more.

Don't know what Maurice is refering to but I recently reported some of the Danni Cash tour links not redirecting properly, not tracking at all and no link to the per order stats.

So what now? Dannicash is dead and we get NO credit for traffic and sales?

Just realized this thread is a couple months old. AFAIK, the old Danni affiliate program "Danni Cash" was replaced with a new one run by Friend Finder back in October. The old affiliate site is still up for historical stats and I think old links tracked to a new ID at her new program at FF and affiliates were sent an email about this at the time. BTW, my previous post about problems was for the new Danni affiliate program not the old "Danni Cash" program as I mistakenly wrote.

Yes I got that email that and the impression was we did not have to change link codes (but it was advised). Now the dannicash.com site is dead completely so there are no stats to check and I am wondering if the old links are just lost traffic now? Or are we getting credit for sales? And the answer to that is no because at the new affiliate site it shows no hits and my old link codes 100s of hits a day. :(

I just signed up to AFF after reading this thread and they also are using the old domain dannicash so nothing will work. Pulling there links now.

Ramster, I can log into the old DHDRevEx Danni Cash stats at dannicash.com but not www.dannicash.com.

While that email did not explicitly state old link codes would track I also assumed they would since they imported our old DHDRevEx logins and thus could redirect those old IDs to the new ones but when I login to the new Danni program with my old login I see no hits as well so perhaps they did not redirect links afterall.

In my case, I started promoting Danni's site on the new program with an existing FF id and until I switched my link codes to a new tour about a month and a half ago everything was tracking ok.

JCK, thanks for finding without www and it works. April 30th shows no hits (same with May 1 and 2) but there is a sale for April 30th which is odd considering it's showing no hits.

I changed anything I could but the problem with gallery submits is having to change all those archived galleries...there are too many. For $200-300 a month maybe worth it but it is still a pain and not something I'm gonna bother with. Screw them...

That is wierd that we cannot access it with www. I make a few hundred a month off old links. I got some signups so that I good. I don't use the new program. Don't make any money from their other sites.

Would be great if a rep from Danni Cash or FF clears up everything for the affiliates regarding the program on DHDRevEx, old links tracking, payments, etc...

I promote a few sites through DHDrevex. I noticed two sites that do promote Erica Campbell and Crystal Klein through DHDRevex were both acquired by Danni.com and their content has been dead for about two or three months, and I can NOT get an answer to this matter from DHDRevex or Danni.com. This was all without warning. I noticed in my stats, hits and sales just dropped. No heads up on what was going on.

I have tried their contact info on ericadollars.com and danni.com tells me DHD is responsible and DHD tells me danni.com is responsiable for the content that no longer works.

Seems like stats are not working but is anyone getting sales? Is anyone getting sales using the Medley system?

Since the change, I have gone from making good money to making no money.
