mad skills

mikesouth 11-04-2008 03:02 PM

nice as those pics are I learned something about marketing photography

those pics may be amazing to take and fun and all that but there is still a very limited market you can sell to

but take a half assed picture of a half naked girl and people will line up to pay to see it.

pornguy 11-04-2008 03:03 PM

Those are very nice.

JayAllan 11-04-2008 03:04 PM

Not everything people do has to be for the money.

I wondered about that, too.

There's great skill in the surreal shots at the end - so I'm guessing they've used some of that same technique to alter/enhance the lighting and mist in many of them.

Either way - tremendous images...great eye for composition.

I am gonna definatly go with post work.
I got curious and messed around, and grabbed a photo I took my self and did some freaking on it. If I didnt try and replicate it in 10 minutes and gave it a couple days anyone can do this:)

This is a technique known as High Dynamic Range, or HDR Imaging.

you can google it and see more info but basically its a composite of multiple photos of the same subject taken with different exposures.

(at least thats my guess)
