How to Get Motivated to go to the Gym?
 
ill start fresh next week..ill start fresh next week..ill start fresh next week..i been saying that for the past 2 months :Oh crap i need to drop 12 lbs. :disgust

How do you Gfy fitness fanatics do it?

I look at a pic like this, and say " that's how I want my ass to look"..
And realize if I sit on it, it will not .. so I go workout to tighten my ass !!

Have a solid goal, go on the bodybuilding forums and what not check out what routine is best for your goals and stick to it. If you go long enough, going to the gym is more routine than chore

when i am at the gym i dont think about anything else but working out. Its relaxing for me to get away from things for 1-2 hours

I moved the table out of the dining room and moved a universal machine in there. My back hasn't hurt one time since I started working out again.

Next time you feel the urge for a late night snack, to eat out, or anything you know you shouldn't be doing, goto walmart. Stand by the entrance and watch about 50 people walk in. Then head to the gym.

just grab your keys, walk to the car, drive to the gym, go in, and jump on a machine and get started, once you get started the energy comes and it gets easier

How about this.. visit the gym everyday for a week for a 10min workout.. Make sure each time you visit is a different time of the day. After the week is over, figure out which time slot had the most # of hot chicks there. Then proceed to go at that time each day, looking forward to your new workout buddies ;)

well....it never ends...i have an ass like that and my ex-bf wanted it bigger and told me to get on the stairmaster to build up the muscle to make it bigger. WTF?

Just get a hot Personal Trainer : ), When I was a Personal trainer full time I would say 70% of my clients were male. It worked for them, it might work for you! If you lived in AZ I would get your ass in shape ASAP!

Just Do It. Believe me, once you start going, you will be motivated. Just start easy otherwise you will be sore the next few days and use that as an excuse not to go.

My advice is to try something fun and different, I was at 276 pounds and 45 years old. My dad died of a heart attack at 52.
I was gonna die soon if I didn't get off my ass. But I've grown to dislike weight lifting as I've been doing it for 35 years.
I heard a commercial for Xtreme Couture MMA gym in West Palm Beach/Wellington and decided to check it out.
I started traing 16 monthes ago and lost 30 pounds in the first 2 monthes.
I can now fight for 6 10 minute rounds with one minute rest in between.
I still weigh 245 but I am healthier and look better, I am about to drop another 30 as I am going on a diet again. When I get to that weight I'll stay there just like I did previously.
DO SOMETHING FUN!!!!
SOMETHING YOU ENJOY!!!!!
regardless of what it is just do it today.

I can confirm that it's absolutely possible to have similar results if you work at it. I lost about 70 pounds from Jan 1 to Sep 1, and have since added roughly 6 pounds of muscle from Sep 1 to Nov 1, and feel like a completely different person.
