Are you familiar with the term 'push gift'?

I wasn't until I looked it up just now.

The day my mom watched my youngest being born she went out and bought me the most gorgeous gold cameo bracelet and brought it back to the hospital. She wanted to give me something to always remember that day by.

I have never heard of it, but I guess it is something to do with buying your wife a gift for pushing out the sprog...?

If it is, then I didn't buy my wife a push gift -- except for a really nice bunch of flowers.
