Want to get rid of Tube Sites? Then lie...

Seriously, they steal from you, so why not lie about them? Start telling your members that Tube sites are dangerous, the Flash videos are secretly installing spyware that will steal bank account #'s etc, or something similar. Send out emails warning people about the dangers of Tube sites and how they are used to steal identities. The shit will spread like wild fire, like all those dumb emails do. People will believe, and they will warn other people.

examples:
Nigerian Scams, worked
Cellphone companies selling your #'s to telemarketers , who didn't get that email?
Y2K....

If you want to stop Tube Sites, make people afraid of them.

After Shock Media 11-04-2008 02:04 AM

Well Y2k worked and happened because the people were to damn close to the issue and then they freaked and well they were experts and the public freaked.
People still get called on cellphones.
Yes Nigerian scams get people, and yes people act stupid. It is more based on greed though.

Not really sure why one would have to lie to stop a crime if that crime was happening to them. People very well could follow through with shit and get many of them in trouble - few ever do. Reality is most do not care about the industry long term to give a rats ass about the now.

Well, I am assuming that the person would be smart enough to not sign their name on the fucking emails.

If you have members then there is a good chance they don't know about the illegal tube sites yet. Why inform them that they exist?

marketsmart 11-04-2008 07:01 PM

all you have to do is have about 100 kids plaster cars at church with hardcore ads for the tubes... and for $1,000,000 i will take them all down...

DBS.US 11-04-2008 07:13 PM

Go after there money, the company's that are paying them for stealing your content, the advertisers.

cherrylula 11-04-2008 07:17 PM

Somebody start an email chain about the new youtube virus that is going to explode everyone's computer at midnight on new year's eve. Tell them to stay away from all sites with the word "tube" in the domain or the will get infected and never know til it hits.

If done right, it would spread like wildfire through office emails across the nation. People think everything is a virus, they're easy like that.

Its true- I read it on the internet.........

Tubes sites implant trojans on your pc that keep track of all your passwords and personal information. If you ever used a credit card online, and visited a tubesite, they have your number. Any credit or debit cards that have been used online should be cancelled and replaced according to John Smith, head of the I.P.R.I.A.
The I.P.R.I.A. (internet policing and regulatory inforcement agency) has been investigating a number of popular adult tube sites for the past few months. "A lot of these sites seem harmless" Mr. Smith says "you go on them and get anything you want. The problem is its not as free as it appears, because now they have access to any personla information you've ever typed into your computer."
I.P.R.I.A. agents were tipped off to such activitys by former employees of multiple tube sites. "When we first were made aware of this in early 2008 we were positive it was just the ramblings of an angry ex-employee. But after multiple alligations leveled by multiple people towards multiple tube sites, we began to look into the matter further."
The I.P.R.I.A. urges those who have ever visited a tube site to take action now to avoid future problems. "One thing that is guarenteed, it will happen very fast. When it does a lot of people who thought they were getting something for free will understand that all things have a price." When asked about any connections between tube sites and the popular members subscription sites Mr. Smith was clear:" I dont want my kids looking at any of them, but between the two choices I would urge those who are in the market to just be safe and join a reputable member site."\

Like I said, I read it on the internet. It has to be true.
