Interesting fact from a battleground state
Today, McCain made his first stop in Indiana since July. He drew a crowd of approximately 5,000.
The Obama rally I went to drew 35,000. Both rallies were in Indianapolis, and both during the workday. And Indiana is a traditionally red state. |
very interesting.

McCain's was out at the airport. To me though, that is still a substantial difference in a state that usually goes red by 7:15. |
they have had 29 years to know who McCain is. They wanted to see who this new guys was that makes great speeches. Everyone likes to be entertained and McCain is BORING.

Indianapolis is a major city and will have a more liberal slant to it. McCain, I'm sure, enjoys some support in the city, but most of his support will come from the rural areas of the states.
