Vanautu Family Values
Recently, during one of my searches-gone-on-a-tangent, I found tons of family sites (from 1999-2000) hounding the auto-dialers as "evil, unscrupulous, porn lords raping our innocent youth with their filthy porn scams". Another post just remined me of that whole dialer scam thing and a big question I had about it:
We got hit with a $350 charge on our business line by that same "scam" (calls to Vanautu Africa). The only problem is we never had ANY long distance whatsoever on that line. I couldn't call the next state with that line if my life depended on it, much less Africa. The charges were obviously NOT the result of calling out, auto-dialer or otherwise. So... I don't doubt that auto-dialers exist and sucker people often... but was that whole adult dialer publicity ordeal some kind of right-wing religous scam perpetrated on the adult industry just to make them look bad or what? Any right-wing religous folks here? :winkwink: ----------- BTW - I found crap like this: http://www.familyeducation.com/artic...13-0-1,00.html claiming crap like this: "Porn Fact: Boys ages 12-17 are amongst the largest consumers of pornography. -www.enough.org" Oh really? Do they consume the majority of drugs supplied by evil drug lords too? Just how many billions of dollars do these 12-17 year old boys have to circulate on their recreational vices? :321GFY |

Anyway, still couldn't call it from that line if I wanted to. :disgust |
Haha, I remember they had them in Sierra Leone, man that country was / still is fucked up. Porn money was pouring in, and there was a full-scale civil war.
