Why no majority voting? I don't get it.

IMHO, the whole Electoral vote is weak. The popular vote should decide, every time, in every election.

Then you have "battle ground" states and if you're not part of one of those, you may as well not even waste your time because for sure your vote doesn't count.

I don't get it either. It should be the popular vote and that is that.
