i was pretty excited when i heard of lensman was involved in http://www.playboycash.com/ and i believed the members of the boneprone family when they said this will be the next big thing, but now i just realized that this latest playboy campaign will fail again:

in expectation of joining to the program we prepared our searchengine placement and purchased some playboy related domains, now, we got contacted by playboy/or one of its lawyers to drop those domains or to pay a $100,000 fine.

now i ask, how can we promote playboy without taking advantage of its brand name, i thought this was the reason to use playboy-partnership program instead of ars.

I've heard Playboy is extremely anal about their copyright. But you have a good point. If they expect to make some good money, allowing people to use their name will make it much easier. Hopefully, Lens can talk some sense into them. They obviously know shit about Internet marketing.

playboy could benefit from it's strong brand, but that's gonna be a problem. if the relax a little bit, they soon will dive out of shit.

I doubt they'll sell hardcore on that domain directly though.
But it'll sell, even with only softcore.
Perfect 10 does pretty well, I dont think Playboy would do any worse.

We used to spam Infoseek for "playboy" about 5 years ago.
It did quite well, until Playboy sent us a C&D, I think it was for the domain playboypictures.com

Out of those 12k raw, how many are unique? I just started watching the traffic I'm sending them. Example, today I sent 200 raw to Bang Bus and only 100 were unique.

Any idea how they're tracking?
