Tottenham

what a turnaround.. wow. 7 points in last 3 games. :thumbsup

I had a sneaky feeling they would win today. Quite unreal actually!

One thing that pisses me off though is that the players obviously weren't even trying under Ramos, yet fans pay a lot of money for season books. Regardless of whether they like the manager or not, they should still be trying 100% for the team. They get paid ridiculous amounts of money to do so...

i would deepthroat Harry Redknapp.

I kinda feel bad for Ramos. Now everyone is talking how brilliant Redknapp is... as if it took one person to fix the mess.

Or as if he could turn around a team doing totally SHIT to playing how they are now in just a few days... :disgust

Some Managers

The mentality of some managers just dont work... Ramos didnt become a bad manager overnight... but when you have a team of mainly british players and you try and tell them what they can eat... put them all on a specific diet... that just aint going to fly !

I also found his tactics a little questionable... Redknapp however is old school, as they said back to basics... He showed that in the game against Liverpool... switchign to 2 up front for example... bringing Lennon on, when Ramos would of proberly settled for the point...

However he will have to buy... they are definetly still short in a few positions, the goalkeeper is a liability and he needs to go... I think he will try and bring James in from Portsmouth... maybe Green from West Ham if he fails...

King and Woodgate are two good centre backs... bit early co comment on the full backs (would be Corluka and Hutton for me)... Midfield wise I like David Bentley, Aaron Lennon... so he has the wide players sorted... never been a Jenas fan but he does a job.

Up front I am not thrilled by... never rated Bent (not world class) and the Russian still as a lot to prove, guess between now and the transfer window he can prove weather he was worth the money... I am sure Redknapp will try to get Defoe and/or Crouch as well from his old club...

Modric is a hard one to place... if he is playing Jenas then he needs a defensive midfielder too... so cant play Modric and Jenas... So I guess Huddlestone fits that role, even though again I dont think of him as world class...

Wonder how much money they will give him to buy... ?

yeah sucks he lost his job but he was well compensated for his troubles and Im sure he was happy to get out of that situation as no one was happy and changes needed to be made...and unfortunately the manager is left holding the blame.

The players at Tott are playing well cause there is a high at the club right now due to Redknapp coming in, but that team needs a lot of work and their quality, or lack thereof will start showing once the high subdues. You see this often with clubs when a new hyped manager is brought in. They need to spend a lot of money this winter transfer if they are gonna be competative for the rest of the season.

as Gunner I am glad Tottenham wont go to championship next year, which looked almost as sure bet, if they would stay under Ramos....But WTF was the end of our derby last week? Fuckity, fuckity, fuck.

NaughtyRob 11-01-2008 06:36 PM
