Supz 10-31-2008 05:38 AM

Trillian works for that. The 2.x version though, the 3.x version blows chunks.

On the add contact box at the bottom "Add AOL screnname"

Use Miranda.

Cyandin 10-31-2008 07:26 AM

Contacts --> Add Contacts --> Add his/her AOL screen name

On a side note, I use Pidgin for AIM / Y! / MSN / Gtalk. ICQ is the only IM I run in it's native environment. This is because I'll lose the 'search ICQ' functionality otherwise. If anyone knows of another multi-IM client that supports that function, please let me know. AFAIK, Trillian doesn't, and Miranda is ancient.

I use Qip and you are given the option to add using icq number or screen name. Very simple.
