I agree. One thing about Obama is that he's very smooth when he talks, and I do like how he talks about putting US first. I guess we'll see if what he says and does are the same once he gets in.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 10-29-2008 06:59 PM

The funny thing is...

McCaine donated to Kalidi some 1.5 Million bucks to his organization, while Obama kept Khalidi at a distance. Khalidi never was a spokesman for the PLO thats 100% made up and fabricated.

Khalidi is a Palestinian and is a supporter of Palestine. This does not make him a terrorist it makes Khalidi a conversationalist about the entire conflict with Isreal.

If ya ask me this area of the world needs to be watched and helped, not feared and wrapped into cheap political shots.

I dunno...if he wipes the floor with McCain which is what has been looking like would happen since well before this half hour commercial, didn't he just absolutely waste like $5 million that could have truly helped some of these people he's saying he's going to help?

I personally think it was way too much. He didn't need it and personally I lost some respect for him from it. Yippee, some politicians endorse him. Yippee, he talks about a handful of "normal" people whose lives have turned to shit with the economy...did we really need to see that? We know the economy sucks.

Furthermore, as at least one news story I've seen after the fact has pointed out, he's still promising a ridiculous amount of spending with nothing about how he's going to magically come up with the money to do it all. Ironically he's been doing more lately to lose my vote, which McCain already had lost...it's turning into another Bush/Gore decision in my eyes.

So according to you, $5 million is too much money to insure that he gets the position
to stop this country from wasting another $500 Billion in Iraq and avoid another
$700 Billion bail out of elite corporations.

Yeah, OK......

I'm not sure if you're paying attention, but Obama has stated a few times where he plans on getting the money. First off, he's gonna eliminate those government programs that aren't doing any good, which I'm sure there's a lot of them, then he plans on letting Iraq use some of their money to fund the war over there, at the same time, trying to work our people out of there.

Due to campaign finance laws that money must be used for campaigns, so its really more use it or lose it type of deal, why not go all out... Seems like the smart choice, though I do agree its crapload of cash but that's only because millions of people have put their money where their mouth is with Obama.

You should vote McCain... Sarah and you sound about right for each other. Obama has told people countless times how he intends to find the money, just like Sarah, your not listening, so vote McCain, while us in the know vote Obama :2 cents:

Anyone else remember watching Robert Novak and Tucker Carlson CONGRATULATING their democratic pundit counterparts HOURS before the polls closed in 2004? They congratulated Kerry for winning.

An awesome last moment tactic to get out the republican vote, and it absolutely worked.

No way in hell was it wasted money. If anyone starts doing a happy dance before it's 100% over this time, they're just helping the other side. Hope they remember it well.
