I put my mouse on the left side.....
 

I had to put my mouse on the left side of my keyboard because I got a shoulder injury. My shoulder got hurt in Judo when a 250lb black belt judoka threw me. I landed on my right shoulder with all his weight and my weight. I might have been a few pounds away from my collar bone breaking. Anyway, I was forced to move my mouse to the left side.


It took me a day to get use to the mouse on the left side. As a side effect of having the mouse on the left side, I can get my daily grunt work done faster and I can hack(in the good sense) away two time faster too.

Doing stuff left handed has made me more creative but more forgetful too. Its hard to explain but it feel like when you are trying to recall something like a name. You know the name but it is at the tip of your tongue.

Anyway, I hear it is a good brain exercise.

I keep tossing the mouse from left to right but I also run a tiny script that enables me to emulate mouse clicks with the keyboard, simply trying to make my life easier

I am now using the mouse on the left.. my right hand still wants to move lolz ..

And here I am spending time moving my mouse pointer to the left side of GFY thinking it some new fangled feature or hidden easter egg or something and it's nothing like that. Sigh.

Left handed people are more creative.

i am not lefthanded but i use left hand for the mouse.. works just fine.
i copied a cpa, she told me it was a waste of time to use mouse with right hand as she used her right hand for the 10 key punch, and she was right.
for some of you it might be a real advantage to have the right hand free to do other "chores"..
