Look... lets be honest here. For once.

You have issues. That's why you're where you're at. Just because you've managed to rationalize your issues as being reasonable, they aren't. They aren't anymore reasonable than a serial killer thinking its totally fine to cut up hookers and eat them because his pet tarantula told him to.

So let's call it what it is...

Your life to this point, has basically been like watching a shitty movie.

You hate the story, you hate the plot, you hate the actors, you hate the directors.... you already think the ending is going to suck no matter what happens.

Maybe it's just time to just walk out of the theater early?


We'll understand.

At least give it some thought.

Give those well adjusted people who actually wake up everyday and enjoy the movie and the good and the bad that comes with it, a chance. Don't devote your life to ruining the experience for everyone simply because you've came completely unhinged.

see.. that's the position you have to take and typical of those that think like you. you have paranoid delusions and you rationalize it by continually doing three things:

1) by insisting your views are the product of your "open minded" and "weighing all the facts" thinking

2) by insisting that those who think you're an idiot are just "brainwashed by the man"

3) trying to argue and spread the word. you do this because its a basic human tendency and part of the process of rationalizing your behavior. you're being driven by a subconscious behavior to recruit and group together with similar minded people because generally speaking, the more people who think like you, in your mind.. the more right you become.

the funny thing about you kooks is that you're always right... never wrong... yet claim to be carefully "weighing the facts" and "empirical evidence" to reach your conclusions.

the sad truth is that many of your are suffering from paranoid delusions and simply struggling to come to grips with them and rationalize them.... rather than just seeking out therapy and moving on with your lives.

uhm yeah... i had similar fears when i was a kid. by the time i was about 5 years old, i realized there was no monster under the bed, no boogeyman in the closet and started sleeping with the lights off like a sane person.

I'm sure you would call people like me ignorant and stupid... but you know what... sometimes... ignorance is bliss. I don't sit around and worry about impending economic doom. I don't worry about mass nuclear wars. I don't worry about the President sending Secret Service agents after me because I wrote a nasty letter to his mother.

Sometimes it's nice just to observe and focus on your own life... those mass problems? They may exist, and someone will take care of them... somewhere... like they always do. If they don't? Well then I guess we are all fucked and sitting around worrying about them never did any good anyway.

The ignorant bliss folk I know... they seem to live pretty happy, fulfilling lives. The conspiracy theory folk I know... and for some reason I know my share, LOL... they are always worried, always scared, always frantic, they alienate those surrounding them... and quite frankly, they sound like psychotic nuts every time they speak.

Nothing wrong with being "open-minded". Obsessing over it though... not so good.

Do I think there was more to what we were told? yes. Does that mean I believe the conspiracies? No.

99% of the "tinfoil" hat conspiracy theories are just made for profit. Alot of people like alex jones are just carnies, they dont really want the truth , they relish in confusion. They profit from confusion.

Humans by instinct like to learn , any discussion even the most absurd is just a learning process, some people just absorb less , or get bored easy :)

"questioning things" means you haven't reached a conclusion and you are open to whatever answers reveal themselves.

"questioning things" doesn't mean babbling on and on and on and on about how the government is out to get you and then rationalizing it by saying "i'm just questioning things" and "looking at the facts" and "i have an open mind"

there is quite a large crowd of people here who have long sense arrived at a conclusion, seek out and use whatever evidence, no matter how silly or bizarre or improbable or just plain wrong it may be to support their case under the guise of "questioning things" and "just looking at the facts"
