What are your pet peeves?
 

One of MY biggest pet peeves is for someone to ask me a damn question and then get pissed off at me for giving them my honest answer........ I have this thing in me that says "Do not ask the questions if you are not prepaired to hear the answers" and I don't ever ask anything if I think I am going to be incapable of hearing the answers.......... WITHOUT getting pissed off or have my feelings hurt. This just eats my ass in a number of ways.... it's like saying "Give me your honest opinion so I can get pissed off and hate you" or some shit..... just drives me nuts......

This has nothing to do with anyone here, just shit I deal with sometimes that drives me crazy..... :mad:

I hear that! I can't stand that shit either. Unfortunately, there seems to be alot of that going on (around here especially). Those that do this, know exactly who they are...and if they don't, all they have to do is ask and I'll gladly tell them! LOL!

Pet Peeve: Back-handed compliments.

I had a 'friend' who got cast in a music video and a commercial...after that, she let me know how much she "envied" me for my plainness...see, it was just so DIFFICULT to be as gorgeous as she was because men were intimidated by her and never asked her out, it was difficult for her to go out without men falling all over her, etc. etc. It actually REALLY hurt my feelings. Plain or not, you do NOT say these things to people!

- people who say 'know what im saying' at the end of every fucking sentence

- people who go through red lights, they must think they dont apply to them or something

- getting behing a soccer mom or a black person at a fast food drive thru. In my experience they are the most pokey mother fuckers who take forever then need extra napkins etc. Then when I get up there i say "Number 2 combo with coke and that is all".

- girls who act like total sluts, then say 'well i was drunk'. Like that is a fucking excuse. Learn some goddamn personal fucking responsiblity.

1.When people gossip about things they have no idea about. Especially in front of big groups of people.

2. A person who eats with mouth open, showing their partially masticated food to all.

3. People who interrupt, or people who tell someone else's story.

I have a few pet peeves, one of which is when people 'forget' to pay me.

KaylaCam.....that just plain sucks....another one is when someone loses weight...and people try to make them eat..it's like they can't stand that their fat friend....is now svelte...

Tam....that one ranks right up on my top ten peeves....don't ask if you don't want my answer...

Hey, like I said, that was my personal experience. Not some myth. If that bothers you, oh well.

NO SHIT.... I have been around women like this and it hurts to be treated as if you are beneath them because of their outter beauty, like that means a damn thing. To me ther is alot more that makes a person beautiful than the outward appearances. Those are just cosmetic appearances......... the REAL beauty comes within and sounds like this person needs to find out what her inner beauty is all about.

To me that type of personality makes them fakes and fake people REALLY piss me off to no end. I don't give a SHIT what you look like, it's how you ACT and where your heart is........

People who are most concerned with their own beauty and are that self absorbed are the ones that have issues, my dear..... not you. I am a middle aged woman, and yes I am fine with this......... and I know I am not an amazingly beautiful woman, I am 38 and have had 4 kids and you know what? I am totally content with my life..... the only thing I would change about my life now is to drop a few pounds..... BUT that is cosmetic and something I am not even worried about...... I got that from bringing 4 of the most amazing children into this world and that's fine by me........ ;)

So don't ever let anyone make you feel bad because they are prettier than you, no matter what their ages are or what they DO....... THEY are the ones harboring issues and trying to make YOU have them too....... you don't even need friends like that. People who go on about how beautiful they are are just plain pathetic to me....... ;)

That's what it's all about Tam...right there...being a mother. To me, that is the most important thing in life. Screw all the other bullshit. I thank God each and every day for giving me the blessing of my son. Even though he's 21 now, he'll always be my "baby". :)

I know this is lame, but it drives me nuts when people say

"I could care less"

when they really mean

"I couldn't care less."

See, if you COULD care less, that means you actually care. If you don't care at all (which is what they are trying to say), then it would be impossible for you to actually care any less.... hence, you COULDN'T care less.

But seriously, they are why I breathe that next breath and why I do the things I do to make them content and happy as PEOPLE.... and the one thing their dad and I make DAMN sure they know is that we love them and being shallow self centered people is not a good thing. We are honest with them to the point it pisses people off sometimes....... but hey, once again, tying this in with my pet peeve, if they ask something they are pretty much old enough to hear the answers to what they ask and I give them what they can handle when they do. We don't sugar coat anything with them at all...........

I can't tell you how many friends I have lost where they have asked me something and didn't like the answers I have to give them..... I am not cruel in my answers, but I AM honest with them....... like the answers or not, I am going to give you an honest answer...... LOL

Stupid People

When cashiers hand the change in one bundle, coins and notes together. It's even worse if the receipt is also in that bundle.

The "could care less" people are an annoyance. People that hog the middle lane for NO reason. People who stare at stuff. For fucks sake. When I spend a good amount of time on my hair, get to where I'm going, and the rain starts... People that get in the way. Also, cocky little punks. People that pretend to know about shit that they really no nothing about.

Unhygenic/unclean people. They aren't a pet peeve, they're just fucking disgusting.

Anyway, if I had to summarise it all with 1 word, I'd say: people.

Most people cannot accept the truth, let alone be told what it is.

Thanks you SO much! It is so hard when you are in an industry sich as this one (at least on my side of things)...and someone 'attacks' you unprovoked like that! I was in SHOCK! I quickly dropped that 'friendship', only to have her call me on Christmas Eve, alone and crying begging to come over...yes, I am a sucker, I let her.
