Joe Wurzelbacher, aka ?Joe the Plumber,? will be making his first appearance on the campaign trail Tuesday on behalf of the McCain campaign.

Wurzelbacher will join former Rep. Rob Portman and several small business owners for a bus tour across Ohio tomorrow starting at a flag shop in Columbus with additional planned stops in Dayton, Middletown, Milford and Cincinnati.

McCain will be returning to Ohio on Thursday for a two-day bus tour of his own but no word as of yet whether America?s most famous plumber will joining the GOP nominee for that trip.

I'm voting Ron Paul.. However, I like Obama far more than McCain - I still wouldn't vote for either of the douches.

GatorB 10-27-2008 05:54 PM

I guess Joe( not really my name ) the plumber ( not REALLY a plumber ) wants higher taxes.

Does anybody not find it a coincidence that Joe the plumber is related to Charles Keating of the Keating five? I mena MCCain just randomly found this guy who happens to be related to one of McCain old buddies form the S&L scandals of the 1980's. Small world.

Ron Paul is more than a man, he is an idea. He is also the voice of reason that still needs to be heard. I rail against Mccain because he has none of the qualities I like in a leader and he is even less a REAL republican than Obama.

It boils down to Obama has been sucessful in all he has done and Mccain has been a failure in all he has done.

"Joe Wurzelbacher is related to Robert Wurzelbacher, the son-in-law of Charles Keating of Keating 5 fame. Readers will remember that John McCain was involved in the Keating 5 scandal. Both Charles Keating and Robert Wurzelbacher went to prison for corruption. Robert Wurzelbacher is now out of prison and a big donor for the Republican Party.
Of course it could all be a coincidence right? Well, here's another funny coincidence: Joe the Plumber lived in Arizona from 1997-2000. He lived at 1960 W. Keating Ave in Mesa, Arizona. There's that name again-- KEATING. It turns out that Keating Ave is named after-- you guessed it-- CHARLES KEATING, who developed the real estate in the 1970s"

Does McCain have a monkey running his campaign?

Scootermuze 10-28-2008 03:05 PM

The McCain campaign said that the plumber was giving a detailed analysis when he just said, "I'll agree with that." to a guy that said an Obama presidency would mean death to Isreal..

So the plumber is now a foreign relations expert it appears...

Soooo.. McCain's new talking head is just another one to help McCain lose...

tony286 10-28-2008 03:06 PM

why am I not shocked.

ChadZilla 10-28-2008 03:17 PM

I'm sure Joe is happy to finally at least get some sort of compensation for being harassed by the media. Geez, just leave the dude alone already. Ha, It's also sort of funny because once they started mentioning him then the news media went and dug up all the dirt on Joe and dragged his name in the mud for no good reason. Fucking retarded.

He should have stayed out of the spotlight then. Or does anyone really thing that this Joe guy was not hired and paid by Republicans to stir up all this shit.

Brilliant theory there. The republicans recruited him. They then planted a McCain agent of war inside the Obama campaign. The keatings paid the guy off to have Obama go in Joe's front yard and campaign. All.............. the.................. pieces............ are............coming.........together now..... :uhoh

And by the by... you think people that ask questions of our public officials should not ask in order to "stay out of the spotlight" BRILLIANT! :thumbsup

Adam X 10-28-2008 08:24 PM

somebody certainly is paying him to trash obama.. he slipped up and said they asked him to say that shit didn't he? I could swear I heard that in the Sheppard Smith thread.. he didn't even know what obama's policies were on israel when asked..

PornMD 10-28-2008 08:26 PM

I wonder how much money they had to give him to get him to join the campaign. He should say in his campaigning "Obama wants to take money from me in higher taxes, and all McCain has done is throw money my way!" lol

bringer 10-28-2008 08:28 PM

i feel sorry for the guy. im sure he has many people telling him of the fortune he could make in politics.... if only he says what they tell him too. on the other hand... he's got a leg up of sorts. in the real world he'd have to serve ATLEAST 3 months as an elected official to get that sort of backroom promise. go joe! dance puppet dance!

Dame 10-29-2008 08:07 AM

I heard he was considering running for congress to. Just because asking Obama a question and the media converging on him he is now the newest poster child for McCain. It was not a surprise that he was backing McCain.
