Paranormal do you beleive?

Call me crazy, but I have always felt a presence in our guest room, a motherly comforting feeling. Everytime I've felt sick or bad I would go in that room and feel some kind of peace. I've never really experienced anything paranormal, but I stand by my beliefs that some female entity resides in our guest room. Perhaps the previous owner who has passed away.

If Chris doesn't get that feeling, than she must have been a lesbian :winkwink:

You are not crazy, its just human to believe in stuff with no logic.

Yngwie 10-27-2008 12:44 PM

sorry, should I leave?? I didn't mean to freak you out. I just needed a place to crash for awhile.

Paranormal is something our level of technology cannot call normal. Just like laser or car in the middle ages.

Interesting. 'Paranormal' things were much MORE popular in years gone by when people were more stupid. Mediums could more easily fool people. Low quality seances (publicly debunked by Houdini et al) were things legends were made of. The audiences of the seances saw fabric being pulled across a stage and were convinced it was ectoplasm.

However, today its 2008 and science can very easily prove that paranormal 'things' are all nonsense.

It is nothing like someone in the middle ages not being able to comprehend a car.

Today, we know of magician's techniques of spoon bending, stropping watches, reading minds etc and can even video tape Uri Geller etc and catch them cheating.

We know about the immoral cold reading techniques used by the likes of John Edwards.

Basically everything 'paranormal' can be explained, debunked or duplicated by perfectly ordinary means.

However, some people need something to help them make decisions in life, or comfort them when they are experiencing pain or loss so turn to this charlatans in their hour of need.

(As you can tell, I don't believe in the paranormal).

:D

I am not that sure I believe in the normal!

I believe in paranormal.

I used to live in one of Canada most supposedly haunted areas. Our house was freaky at night. Never saw ghosts or anything but we sure were freaked out every odd night.

This was our neighbor:

Really? I didn't get that memo... Ever studied or read anything on quantum physics or mechanics?

Science still can't figure out all their own shit so I hardly think their supposed authority pulls anything off the table of legitimacy.

Science does not "prove" things.

That said, it is up to those who make paranormal claims to show evidence that their claims are valid.

rayadp05 10-28-2008 04:33 PM

I believe in the Paranormal. If I were you, I would do some research and try to find out about the history of the house as well as the people that once resided there.

It's all bullshit, a figment of your imagination.
I'm also very disappointed that A&E would even airs the show Paranormal State.

Ghost and shit creep me out, so I'm pretty closed minded to it. It's much more pleasant to think that my dead relatives are not watching me masturbate. But ya know, even when it comes to theories like mind over matter, I say, whatever makes you feel better:thumbsup

There is plenty of evidence already out there that is unexplainable. It is not hard to find examples.

Come on that show is not that bad. I have to laugh when they talk about that demon that is following the leader guy.

it's too fake for that channel IMO

I watch "The First 48" & "Intervention" (my two favorite shows) then they air that "Paranormal Bullshit".

But oh well, what do I know, except that I hate fake stuff.

I have, my house is not that old. I know that the previous owner passed away but not in my house. That's what Chris says anyway (because if she did I'd be packing my bags, grabbing the kid and running out the door) :1orglaugh

Perhaps she really liked this house and feels at home here. As I said it's a positive energy so it's not bothering me. It's a bit weird, because I do feel such a strong presence and I swear I've smelled a sweet perfume. Maybe I'm losing my mind!

hdkiller 10-29-2008 04:58 AM

Clear the room!

Entities can cause several problems, (like draining your 'energy', causing bad dreams, etc) so the best is get rid of it. You can use your mental abilities to visualize a big white ball growing and shining in the middle of the room, turning the whole flat into a bright light.

You can also visualize a 'portal' what sucks the entity into it, then close the portal.

Stay away from wicca solutions, candles and rituals. White candle can work anyway.

Basically the most important rule is not to expose yourself, because if the ghost get aware of that you can feel it, it will glue to you and may follow you to other places.

Use google for good, never hire anybody for work like this and try not to act as crazy so no publick speaking about it :)

Good Luck!

Quagmire 10-29-2008 05:04 AM

Every time I see pictures of you, I feel a rising presence in my pants.

That and I get a strange thought in my mind about clown shoes and... tupperware! :winkwink:

Seriously though, I think there is something going on with energy, but I am not convinced its ghosts of dead people.
