Are Tramp Stamps really Trashy?
 

Sometimes I see models with a tramp stamp and I find it very sexy. Yet, when I see a girl walking around in real life with one on, she always looks trashy. So I can't really make up my mind... are Tramp Stamps trashy or not?

I think its completely over done and 9 times out of 10 its usually shitty work because the girl just went to anyone because all of her friends had one. I am really tattooed but I do not have a tramp stamp and even though I am planning on doing my whole lower back it will not be across just my lower back.

They are trashy, no doubt about it. As stated previously sometimes trashy is good.
Being a content shooter I see the most gorgeous girls who have absolutely fucked themselve up with ugly tats, bad tats, too many tats, tats where you should not have tats and branded tats (Playboy bunnies etc....)
I've got a girl right now that is absolutely a 10 and I can't get her approved by clients too save her life as she is all tatted down.

I stopped shooting girls with Tats of any type 10 years ago. About 50% of girls that contact me, direct or via agency's don't get work because of their tats. I dont like them and most, if not all of my clients don't like them :error

I do not like tats in general. I think most of them are trashy and the reasons women get them make them even more trashy.

If a tattoo has meaning or thought then I can understand but some meaningless design picked out of a book when drunk is stupid.

The stamp doesn't make the tramp trashy. It's the tramp that makes the tramp stamp trashy. All depends on the girl.

They were ok when every chick didn't have one.. now days to me they are pretty lame and much the same as a chick getting tattos on her boobs. It's over and done with move on to the next "trendy" thing.

I'm still waiting for short skirts to be trendy again.

i don't think it's trashy. i think it's tacky and ugly. women should decorate their bodies with sexy clothes or jewelry not ink.

Every tattoo I have has great meaning. I have tributes to both my parents and tats for my kids. I agree that too many people get shit work but there are alot of us that actually put thought into what will be on them for the rest of their lives.

My wife has one and she put our daughters name there :)

Tattooed skin is never going to be as hot as natural skin, not now that almost every girl seems to have one.

Its so rare to find a girl without tats nowadays.

Maybe someone that frequents tattoo parlors can answer this. Do the girls come in and ask for a tramp stamp or is there another name for them there?

Lower back piece usually. I asked my best friend who is a tattoo artist though she says people will once in awhile say they want a tramp stamp.

i think tats need to at least be a little bit original. A tramp stamp is completely unoriginal and thats why im not fond of them, it shows that the girl is a simple follower with absolutely zero creativity

Yes they are trashy. Sometimes that is good, but in more cases than not it is bad.
