Anyone had a sale with one of these sponsors since they switched to 3 day trials and lowered payout? That was about 36 hours ago

I think your regular 3day or 5 day trials just don't cut it anymore

unless its a free trial or something with a twist that gives a surfer reason to drop there Card. All surfers know they can get it for free.
And the newb surfers get educated by there friends on where to get it free.

site promo and processing are key to good conversions

I have been promothing Sexhit/Intergal for about a year now.
First they were paying 70$ per signup in 3 installement (in 3 months) and paying monthly.

Then around june, they launched the Sexhit Supercharged, which was 70$ a signup in one payment and weekly.
They made that change telling that with their experience gain through their program, they were able to sustain it and all. (At that time, people signing up to their free trials, had to pay for a 39.95$ a month subscribtion to another site from day 1. So it wasn't really free after all, more like a 2 for 1. But it wasn't that obvious for the surfer I guess and a bit tricky according to me.

Well, came end of July, they had to change Credit Card processor from having their own account, to Ibill. No more tricks, just plain free trials. Then august went by as a record month for all the webmasters as they're not scrubbing at ALL. Everything went through. They took a hard hit there obviously. (And the fact that the trials were absolutely free).

Then from september they started scrubbing and scrubbing more and more, trying to get a good balance. Well it never happen.
My ratios were terrible, even with highly targeted traffic.
I knew something was wrong, and then the anouncement of the payout changes to 45$.

But what dissapointed me the most was that no where did they advise their webmaster of the Free trials being changed to 2.99$ trial. The less would have been to tell us. I mean I have site that look like false advertising now and all.

Actually I got more signup today than in the past few days. And I am advertising them as FREE. They scrub lots less this way I guess.

They explain these changes based on industry retention, and Visa changes. But is it really, or just bad management or should the poor retention beblamed on their own content?

I promoted some other Free Trials program also, and some of them seem to have declined in ratios also tremendously since last year. I think we are seeing to begginig of the end for free trials. Just my :2 cents:

Maybe it's not a bad thing after all. (even if I use to make most of my money in offering free porn) Make the surfer pay for his porn, the industry will just end up better.

Now I have a paysite, and don't even offer trials at all, and it's going absolutely great.

One of their sites had a paid trial going on for about 1.5 months now... just nobody really noticed... when I inquired why they told me they were already then playing around with the idea of paid trials, so I knew it was time to look for a new sponsor... I wish they lowered the payout but kept the 3 day free trial option... shit.

So it looks like most of us are experiencing worse sales with them since the changes. Anyone think they're shaving now to make up for mistakes in the past?

What do you guys think of StiffyCash? They have the same "free" set up, or do they?

Their GatorCash still has free trials though - but the click count is weird (read=inaccurate in their favor).

Yeah, I notice that with some sponsors. Gets you excited that you're converting 1:50 but hides the fact that only 5% of your traffic clicks to the second page. :thumbsup for them :321GFY for us. :)

Not sure if I would do biz with them. Their free trial is just like the old sexhit/intertgal 19.95 forced cross sell. doesn't this invite CB's big time?

Just for your info Gatorcash isnt affiliated with sexhit/intergal, they just use the same software so their layout looks similar.

Yeah the stats program is used by quite a few affilite programs including ourselves..

They are all having serious backend problems from what I hear. It probably won't last long though.

Just so you know, Sexloot has NOTHING to do with Sexhit or Intergal.... We have previously had some issues, but they have been sorted out now and we are looking at releasing many new features for our Webmasters in the next couple of months.... We even will be bringing out some new things for our webmasters which have never been offered by a sponsor before, so stay tuned :)
