Would racism stop you from doing business with someone?
 

I have noticed quite a few racists running around this forum.

Ive been emailed by people from this board to do business, replied, and then later saw them making some pretty harsh comments on the forum. Certainly, if they would say these things to me in person, I would back up and make my way for the door. And I would surely reconsider doing business with them if the racist comments were done in person, at a dinner table, or behind closed doors.

Call me whatever you will, but when you show your racist side on this forum, dont think people dont take note. Theres a few of you running around here mouthing off, like the racists you really are, and you actually have the nerve to email someone about business, when you have no idea what color I am? Maybe I have a black girlfriend? If I am white or black? You are some dumb mother fuckers thats for sure.

Really, I know people dont like Obama, fine, but theres a few of you on here that have showed a side of you that will definitely keep me from doing business with you. And if you think I am referring to YOU, then I probably am.

Anyway, just a thought.

Yes it effects how I do business. So does several other factors that people go out of their way to post about nearly non stop.
I know some will say that is stupid, that business is business and personal is a different level. I just feel I have my own morals and personal beliefs that I do not need to compromise to make a buck.

I don't like doing business with people that I've seen in a bank and then when I called out their name they flat out ignore me, and then when I hit them up here to ask them why they ignored me they acted like it wasn't them.

Oh and yes, I don't like racism as well. I wouldn't do business with a racist.

its really about life experience, if you live behind a computer, or say something like hey i have 5 black friends or try and prove how you look at everyone the same, you probably wont hold the same opinions as someone who lives in the city and interacts with all types of people all the time.

there is a reason behind these opinions, its not because people are hateful or anything, its because over time you form opinions based on experience.

there is probably less than 5 people that matter in this industry that wouldn't take traffic from anywhere or anyone.. regardless of what they say publicly

I agree that there are some racist people on this board that are pretty blatent about it.

I would bet that over 50% of racist people have never even interacted with the race of people they hate.

Who needs it? If you don't want to do business with a Bigot then don't! If the person hates you for being you then it is best not to deal with them cause they probably wouldn't even pay you after awards anyways.

No it was a guy named FletchXXX!

I saw him in a bank by where he used to live and I was like, "Fletch".... (no reply), so I said it louder "FLETCH!!!" still nothing. "FLETCHXXX!!!" Nothing, he just ignored me.

So I came to GFY to see why Fletch was ignoring me in the bank and he said, he didn't go to that bank. But that's bullshit. I'm pretty sure that was him. Like 95% sure. Give or take a few percent. But a solid 80% for sure. 75-80.

it's always the same 5 or 6 posters here who spew racial hate- i ignore them. if they sign up to promote our program that is fine though.

Unless someone is a "real racist" I don't care much. Biz is biz. I do biz with tons of people who's political mindset is the polar opposite of mine. Saying you won't do biz with someone over politics is stupid, and adds to the divisiveness of the country during elections like this. Its all a bunch of silly. imo.

Morals come first. Sponsors are ten a penny. I make my money, I dont need to compromise my values.

I agree, politics really shouldn't matter to anyone.

Racism though should be seen as a character flaw. I'd be concerned doing business with someone who was. It shows ignorance and often times lower intelligence. Those can effect business.

I'm only racist when CNN tells me I should be.

me personally, I prefer not to do 'close' biz with guys that cheat on their spouses.

as far as 'color' goes, 80% of the people I do biz with is in the form of email. I don't check to see what color they are. I do biz with people that have biz to do.
