Haha well cider is in effect unclear apple juice. So crush and strain.
I would perhaps just consider making apple sauce, or dehydrating them. |
Take 1 part apple and some part cider and there you go!

Or you could just get a juicer. Quote:
Now seeds may be seen as questionable, not that many have ever concerned themselves with them. If concerned one could easily core the apples first. |

We have over a dozen orchards within about 5 miles of my house, but I buy their cider there :(
Besides pies and baked apples, one thing I like to make is apple butter in the crock pot: CROCK POT APPLE BUTTER Put 3 quarts of apples, sliced thin, in a crock pot and cook overnight on high. Next morning, add 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 3 cups sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cloves. Cook all day on low. Tastes like old-fashioned apple butter that is cooked in copper kettle. You can use applesauce if you do not have time to prepare the apples. The crock pot makes it possible for apples to cook a long time without being stirred. (copied off the interwebs - I peel and core the apples first but that's because I have a neat contraption that does one in about 2 minutes :) ) |
