It's pretty good acting and the dialogue/character interaction is clever. A little repetitive but probably better than 98% of the other dramas on TV.

I have to give it to Hugh Laurie, he's an awesome actor. I agree about the amazing accent job he does! He's hated in Britain because of his success , he told a magazine that he feels he has been abandoned by the British and no longer welcome as an actor. Well they are fools, they are just jealous! He's a huge hit and he's richer than the lot of them I tell ya :-) Get it Hugh!
