I decided to try AdBuyTraffic.com to get some extra traffic sent to my site last week. Nothing big, just 10,000 hits to see if these services worked. My campaign is still going so I am still not sure...

Here is the question...
Suposedly they have 1000's of domains under their control and when one get's hit, my website becomes a popup. I didn't see anything near the amount of traffic that I paid for and asked them to "show" me one of their domians that they have under control that "pop's up" my website.

They could not show me any domains that do this... Not even 1...

Even with their amazing technology, I found it odd that their systems were "limited" in being able to provide this extreamly simple information...

Does anyone find this odd? Can anyone elaborate as to why they were not able to?

I didnt get much traffic from them very quickly at all, bought 10,000 hits over a month or something, complained, and they called me up and asked what was wrong and offered me a refund for the remaining traffic... thought that was pretty cool.

Please don't flame me but what is hitbot traffic?

basically computer generated hits. You would have been better off keeping your money and hitting the refresh button a few thousand times.

They are big time scammers. It usually pays to research before spending money with any traffic broker ESPECIALLY porn ones.

If you paid via paypal or CC, you might be able to get your money back. You may also want to report him to the FTC, paypal, and anywhere else he takes money from.

Adbuytraffic just forced a refund on me based on the 3000+ hits that they show instead of the 202 hits that my log files show.

I just put through the full refund request to pay pal.

Can I get in trouble for posting my experience on my website?

I made a very wise decision.....bought 50k hits from them a while back.

If you ask about cancelling, they hit you for a cancellation fee ++

Yep, my refund was pro-rated on their "false" 3000+ hits as well as minus 15%. Total rip off artist's!

Well, then let me ask you the same question I asked AdBuyTrafic. Can you show me your "work" first hand. IE. if I am a pop-up somewhere, can you show me the popup?

Tanya chokers traffic is some of the best you can buy for the price.

Depends on the type of site you have... dont think he will send directly to a paysite you need to be either a TGP or buy a galleryspot...

Hi Tanya - I don't own the program but have had good results with it, know the guy who does and let others know. It is NOT a popup (which is good in my opinion) people just get pissed off at those and close them right away anyway. At least I do. It is a blind link in a gallery. I have found it exposes me to some traffic I might not have otherwise been exposed to because the surfers seem to like my site and click around alot. Hope this helps. Here is a sample gallery..http://www.sexsweety.com/free/scully/baaou.htm the surfer sees this gallery because it is on MANY tgps, then they click for example, the "Wanna Get More" or the "Best Catalog of Porn Sites" and they will be taken to your TGP for example or someone elses who bought traffic. I'm on my second block of 100k hits from him. This time I overpaid by $25 for the 100k because I didn't know he was having a sale, so he hooked me up with 133k. Very cool.

I agree with everyone else as well.. Chokers is GREAT - been working with him for a while now. But if your site is NOT a Freesite, try the other.. I like to try several things, it keeps the traffic you get fresh, new people exposed to your site if you buy a little here and there good luck to you Tanya

I tested adbuy too, I bought 50k hits back in the summer. I also had hits coming in to similar pages from choker and a few of my other paid traffic sources, and there was no comparison. The adbuy traffic had minimal productivity, while my other sources sent their usual good quality.

From the adbuy traffic my site saw minimal clickthrus to my trades and sponsors. Sales? Forgetaboutit.

We've got traffic available at Traffic.ConsumptionJunction.com , but it really depends on what type of traffic you're looking for. I divide traffic into high quality and low quality based on conversion rate. Low-quality traffic isn't necessarily bad, it really depends on your bandwidth rates. Low quality traffic comes from TGP's, 404's, and spawning exit consoles. I usually see conversions in the 1/1000 to 1/5000. If your bandwidth is cheap, it might be worth it. I've got a couple customers like www.karadavis.com and www.projectvoyeur.com that are doing well with it. Their bandwidth jumped up 50mb/s or so, but they've got a good deal on it.

We, on the other hand, sell the high-quality traffic that converts usually around 1/250 for good sites. Often, I get potential customers that can't afford our pricing. I typically refer them to CD Smith and I've gotten good feedback from them. You can get in touch with him here:
