Was just playing with the forex practice trader and made $1,599.91 in the space of about 3 hours. Surely it cant be this easy can it? cause if it is Im geting out of porn and I will start trading for real money, its seems much easier...lol

Do you use Forex ? and is the practice trading the same as the real deal?

compare the values in your demo session to the real values if you can find them elsewhere. If they match then the system is real, if not then it might be a scam to get you to believe you're some kind of genus trader so you cough up money for their service.

I dont think the system is a scam. I read that is uses real values just a few days old.

You can lose your ass in a matter of minutes.

I have known people up $50k one hour earlier....down $50k the next.....

The issue is you leverage so much in currency trading it WILL bite you on the ass.

Sounds risky, if you can make money that quick you can lose them at the same rate.

would be good if that is the case, I did notice at the top of the practice trader board it displays the value of currencys and gold, silver ect and it is displaying todays date

yeah thats like £500 over here which is not that much but there are also other trading programs which work the same that do not require a minimun balance

Im def not a pro and would not put huge amounts of money into something I dont know much about, It just seemed way to easy to make money while playing with the Forex Trader practice board

Never traded currencies, but TBH it looks like stocks on speed with fewer reliable indicators... dangerous.

I've been learning Forex @ BabyPips.com for almost 2 months. I haven't done any real trading as they advise you to learn the system before jumping in. I've learned quite a bit and will be "going live" with my trading in about 2 weeks.

yes and it is the exact same as real trading.. there is no lag in rates, parctice uses real time..

the only thing you need to be careful of when practice trading is the spreads. i lot of times practice accts will give you really low spreads so it makes it a bit easier.. when you live trade, the spreads are higher..

spreads fluctuate based on volatility and also the pairs you are trading.

i only trade the yen pairs... usd/jpy, gbp/jpy, and eur/jpy..

right now i have been focused on the usd/jpy pair because of the crazy financial markets..

any idiot can trade forex, you have a 50/50 chance, either its going to go up or down..

if you want to make money long term, you need to know what you are doing and you need to find good software to help you make decisions.

PS. like anything in life, nothing is easy.. if you are willing to take the time to learn and can stay disciplined, you can make a good living trading.. also, you need to have a sizable bankroll to start.. $50,000k is really the entry point, but you can trade on a mini or micro acct and start with as little as $5,000, but you will just have to trade ion smaller lots...

you def want to learn how to use metatrader and as a beginner, try looking at the 3 hour and daily trending charts...

I played around with the 'game' version at oanda.com. The only time I made money was when I watched the charts like a hawk. Every time I put things on auto and left the computer, I lost big time. Damn it was boring. If you were able to do that hours on end, and be awake at the hours of the day that see the most activity in the pairs you want to trade, you could do well.

I think if you were are real math wiz, like PhD genius type, you could write something that works almost 100% on auto pilot.

Forex is not a game play, you need to practice A LOT in order to see returns, in this industry over 90-95% fail and lose their money.

And no, none of the programs work. You're better off flipping a quarter than using software.

after over a year, i finally feel comfortable...

i have had some amizing wins and some pretty stellar losses...

the hardest part of trading is learning money management.. or at least for me it was..

i make a lot less a day now, but i seldom have a loosing trade...

i finally learned that i would rather make $100-1000 a day and keep losses to a minimum than trade above my means and have one losing day wipe out a months worth of gains...

as i keep increasing the value of my acct, over time I will be able to keep increasing my daily profit without increasing my risk..

i am interested and can probably get some traders to participate as well...

I'm installing a social script for us. I will give you and adam server access to help get it going. I = novice with time to learn. GFY doesn't move fast enough anymore. :)
