The fun thing is that you can never prove it, unless you go to a show or otherwise meet a good number of your peers. Fansigns don't work since there could just be someone else relaying commands to the "talent."

No one knows for sure if Fluffy was a man or a woman. The avatar was of a woman and there was a picture posted of the same woman as in the avatar in front of the computer with GFY on the screen. So Fluffy very well may have been a woman.
