here's a shot of Jana from the other day . I just happen to really like this image... Jana definitely has a world class beauty.

I had shot Jana in 2004, I don't think either one of us enjoyed that particular shoot, however this shoot was certainly a blast from top to bottom... hopefully I'll be lucky enough to have the pleasure of shooting her again some time.

this image has no 'airbrushing' for those that would comment in that area. only color correcting and the skin smoothed in a bit.

pretty simple really, just select the tones you wish to work with then some smoothing, then batch the files.

this shot was lit with natural lite, fluorescents and quartz for those of you interested...

here's another image I sorta like. even though I prefer to shoot in an 'editorial style' with augmented natural lite I do use strobes as part of my lighting arsenal. this was lit with 2 strobes, some reflectors and quartz. I hope you enjoy it.

and as with the previous image: no airbrushing.

there are a quit few plugins out there, just look them over and get the one that works for you be the best way to go...

or you can do it with the select tool and layers just as easily... basically that's all the plugin does.. the color comes from lite and my eye

I really only know a few simple things... I just learn what I need too know, to work and let the rest slide :) mainly if you'll hang out with other shooters and and guys like that you'll pick stuff up...

*what is an "editorial style?" since I thought style was something individual. Editorial meaning magazine? So that would mean magazine style, and there's hundreds of magazines out there with thousands of photographer shooting for them in their own style. So would that make this a style with no style? This is porn correct? Nice pictures though.

**They might not be airbrushed but you definatley ran them through a softening program in photoshop, one of the highlight / skin softening programs. This is definatly not an out of camera picture. I just think we should all be a little more hones here if we are being open. But once again, nice pictures.

you didn't read the post correctly. I did state the images have been run though a skin smoothing process in post. however the highlights are from how I lit the shot.

you're doing mental jumping jacks with the 'editorial style' business. I usually shoot with a more natural 'editorial' style. see pic:

this is a shot, while lit by me, has to my thinking a more editorial view than say a shot of a woman standing in a living room lit by unnatural lite sources posing for no viable 'motivated' reason. hence my comment about 'editorial style'.
