i can cab from my place for about the same cost...just sucks i wanted to stay near my buddies

try and find some cheap bed and breakfast or something

yeah kandah i think bed and breakfast is the way to go
someone is being nice enough to help me search right now as well

Badger the hotel manager to fix you up. There is sure to be a last minute no-show also most hotels now have a handicapped room or two that they will let go at the last minute.

i would try that...but im far away

someone with superior surfing and shopping skills just hooked me up 17 minutes away :)
