Who Has Madden 09 ??
 

Is it better than the very poor 08 version ?

It's just been released over here but at a rather cheap price for a PS3 game which has me wondering if it's more shit from EA... :warning

I have it for 360 and like it.

I don't have Madden 09, I still need to get it. My friend has NCAA 09, though. He loves it.

its good.. its more about being a fan of the Madden brand. some suck, and some are are better, but fans buy the new one every year.:2 cents:

it's not any cheaper here than any other PS3 or XBOX 360 game. And yes it is better than Madden 08.

anyone try it for wii yet? are the throwing motions realistic?

i keep thinking of buying it, then back down. ive heard the '09 version is a bit buggy and slow compared to '08.

i have it for xbox 360, love it.

i bought it for 360, put it in and played half a game, then my xbox froze and shows 3 red lights. I guess i gotta send it in now.

i got all 3 maden football games for the wii they are a blast to play

09 is sweet ... fucking online roster update killed brady out for me =p

dont have time to play much mercenaries takes up my game time

Yah I hate the Wii. My friend got one for his birthday last year from his girlfriend. 4 months later it was at his sisters house and his niece was using it while he played his PS3.

I got VERY bored of the Wii quickly. After 20mins of playing, i just wanna stop.

Every game you do the same fucking thing. "oh, what do we do in this game?"

"well you swing your arms forward, and then back again. Repeat untill your arms fall off"

"didn't we do that in the last game?"

"yeah" :disgust

Yep boring as hell. Its fun at first like you say but you soon get pissed off with it. The graphics are poor, its slow and not as much fun as you think. Give me my playstation 3 any time.

sports games on the wii are a total joke (all play) but I'm in with others, I have madden and college and honestly the college game is more fun BUT not really worth the $60 to upgrade from last year. Do it only if you plan on having madden parties and playing others alot. The single player upgrades are NOT worth it.

Madden seems to be zoomed in more so the players look bigger over college. Graphics on madden are also better than college. Defense is also more realistic in madden. Just like in real life you can have 12-9 slugfests in madden BUT in college the games are typically more like 35-49 high scoring affairs. Defenses are almost always shitty in college.

Pick what you want ;) if you crank up the difficulty in madden its HARD but do the same in college and you'll still put up points but then so will the CPU!
