It seems like it is a sudden trend to have really ugly text 'bubble's pop over the videos all over youtube nowadays, and they all look pretty much the same, so they must all be using the same software....

Yeah, it's getting fucking annoying on popular videos

bet it's making some people really good money though

Quite easy to turn off on the bottom right

You can only link them to youtube profiles or other youtube videos. You can type a link out like a myspace profile or any url, but you can only actually get a clicked link to other youtube links.
