Do you prefer parity in the NFL and College Football?

it's crazy - every weekend now in the NFL and Division 1 NCAA football underdogs are beating the top teams. The NFL has purposely tried to make it this way with the salary cap, unbalanced schedule and the draft - so it's not really surprising that there's alot of parity. In college football back in the day before ESPN and regional cable sports channels the best high school football players and the best coaches would all go to the established glamour football schools like Notre Dame, USC, Michigan, Alabama etc because they wanted to be on network TV and have their families, friends and pro scouts seeing them. Today they can go to almost any college and get the same thing so it's evened the playing field recruiting wise.

The question for football fans is - did you prefer it the other way - where in the NFL and college there were powerhouses and dynasties like the Steelers, Cowboys and Notre Dame and USC?

I prefer watching college football more. Not that NFL is boring, there is just something about college ball that seems more exciting for me.

lots of people prefer college over the NFL - if i had an alma mater with a good team or lived in a place near a big NCAA school I'm sure I'd prefer it - NFL is a business, so is the NCAA but for the kids playing and the fans it means more.
