nubiles is good if you want sponsored videos otherwise vidiscript is like the only choice if you're in adult. If I remember right there's like 2 others that don't allow adult.

I'm on my laptop and don't have those bookmarks and honestly can't think of them off the top of my head. One of them there's like a $30 fee to use for adult and another script thats been around forever has stated no adult due to like their religious beliefs or something like that.

I'm going to compile a list and keep it posted someplace with prices and things in it and eventually offer some reviews of them. As I build my addon for various scripts I will be spending quite a bit of time with every tube system out there.

looks like in the next coming months and years that there will be a ton of scripts coming out of nowhere, your idea of a list and reviews is a good one because there are more and more choices for the webmaster than ever, and it is likely that something free and good may be on the horizon and it will end up being used by everyone just like wordpress is now for blogging :2 cents:

I'm digging into vidiscript tonight sometime as I port my sponsor code over to be able to support it. The demo looks pretty good.

$200 seems to be the price point where you can find tons of scripts. I don't see a free solution ever being "the solution" for anybody serious simply because all of the high end tubes will always want some things that free just can't offer.

Hopefully porting something over to bring sponsor imports into some of the free or cheap scripts will help shift the balance of power.

why don't you see serious affiliates that want to offer a tube experience to the surfers being able to find a free script that will do a more than adequate job for their needs?

of course there are always going to be a need for custom cms and stuff for some and the biggest sites, but it seems feasible for there to be a free script solution in the near future that will do pretty much everything that 99% of the webmasters want out of a tubesite and do it well, we are very close to seeing that already with some of the scripts that are out, aren't we?

I never said wordpress wasn't good for blogging but I guess our definitions of "serious" tube sites must be different. I'd say more than 90% of the tube sites out there are by no means serious. I don't see a free solution coming any time soon that will handle serious traffic. The majority of sites will always be the MINORITY when it comes to traffic and profit. All of the serious tubes will have no trouble pouring thousands into a custom CMS.

Of course there are what I'd call BASIC free scripts readily available and with a little more work will be more than enough for MOST sites. In the same way that phpbb offers MOST of what a forum owner needs.

Every single tube script I have ever seen was good enough to build a website and then
grow it. All these scripts have modular designs and their data structure is easy to
re-use. As a site grows some of the modular scripts can be re-written/replaced if these are advantages.

I don't think there are any tube sites that are getting millions of hits who still have
the original script in place with no changes. That would be unbelievable.
The webmaster would have to be completely devoid of ideas to not want changes
to the script while growing from 1000 hits to 100,000 hits to 1,000,000 hits.

I mean really; if someone using my script started getting 200k hits a day and decided
that they wanted something done differently; wouldn't they just email me and ask
how much for me to code this for their site??

absolutely true, there are some relatively simple mods that would make my script spread across servers well that if anybody were to really NEED them I could certainly roll them out for them.

there's really 2 main tube scripts that really have the features and that is clipshare and the one that used to be called social media, can't remember what they call it now. Everybody else is either rather shitty or focusing on a niche.
